What makes your services unique?
1. Co-facilitated couples therapy.
We bring the male and female perspective to create a balance and alliance. It is a wrap around service: For individual sessions Leslie sees the female client and Charlie sees the male client and then the four of us meet together in the couple’s sessions using our Integrative Partnership Model. This model was developed to meet the couple where they are currently after taking an inventory to find out what has been working in their relationship and what has not been working. We then work together to infuse new behaviors into the partnership.
2. A combined 25 years of training and expertise. We have specific training in the treatment of the following areas: Sexual and relationship issues, Multiple addictions, Couples therapy, Trauma resolution, Family systems, Mood disorders
3. We offer a range of services rarely provided by other therapists in private practice. You get more than a couch to sit on each week. You receive a specialized program that fits your unique needs and issues. This program offers much more than individual therapy alone. Through the groups, seminars, workshops and intensives you can dive as deeply as you choose into improving all aspects of your life and the way you live it.
What are your fees?
We have been very diligent in keeping our overhead low so that we can make our services available to as many people as possible. Making our services available to as many as possible also includes keeping it financially viable and we are aware of the need for a fair exchange of energy on both sides. Individual sessions are offered at 60, 90 or 120 minutes. The fee for an individual is $125 per hour. Groups are $50 per group. Our workshops, intensives and seminars are based on the number of people attending and how long the event runs. It is our goal to offer our services to anyone who feels they can benefit from it.
Do you accept health insurance?
We are able to provide a 'superbill' for patients to submit to their insurance company for reimbursement, but are unable to bill on our patients' behalf. Most insurance companies are slowly recognizing the importance of being proactive in health care but don't yet value what we find to be most important to the process of true healing. Since they prefer to treat the symptoms rather than healing the illness, preventive, nutritional, and mind/body approaches are generally not paid for by insurance. This situation is slowly changing but we're not there yet!
How long is your average client in therapy?
This varies according to the client, the issue, and the amount of time one is willing to invest in their health and healing. Our mission is to facilitate a plan of action that will empower you to find new ways of living and set you on your course. We are not here to keep you stuck or dependent on an outside source.
Do you accept credit cards?
At this time we do not accept credit cards.
