Leslie White brings to the Center for Alchemy a wealth of experience and expertise in many facets of counseling. With over 13 years as a counselor, Leslie has worked in:
- Private Practice in Scottsdale, Arizona
- Psychiatric inpatient therapy - Adult & Adolescent
- Residential trauma therapist at a world-renowned inpatient treatment center
- Director of Intensive Outpatient program for multiple addictions
- Resident trauma therapist for women’s abuse center
- Therapeutic groups for incarcerated women
- Personal Health and Wellness Practitioner
Along with her work as Co-Director and Co-Founder of the Center for Alchemy, Leslie is an addiction and wellness counselor in the areas of Women’s health and wellness issues, sexuality counseling and the Mind.Body.Spirit connection.
She has a Master’s degree in Social Work, is a licensed substance abuse counselor, and is working towards her Ph.D. in the field of Psychology. In addition, she incorporates Energy medicine and nutritional/ supplement consultation into her work.
Leslie has worked in a variety of residential and outpatient treatment settings throughout her career. She was an addictive disorders and trauma therapist facilitating weekly intensive workshops at a highly respected multiple addictions treatment center in Wickenburg, Arizona. She has worked with a wide variety of clientele and working with women’s issues is Leslie’s specialty.
Her scope of practice includes trauma, addictive disorders, family of origin issues and grief recovery. She also provides nutritional health and wellness consultations for those with health concerns and is a trained Reiki practitioner. With 13 years of professional experience, she is in a unique position to guide her clients toward a more holistic view of counseling.
